Meet The Doctor & Team

Dr. Okonedo was born in Baltimore, Maryland and has spent the majority of her life in the DC-Maryland-Virginia area. Dr. Okonedo graduated from the prestigious University of Maryland, College Park where she obtained her B. S. in Biology. Following graduation, she worked in a private dental office for a year and fell more in love with dentistry. She pursued her passion and was accepted to University of Maryland College of Dentistry, fulfilling her dream of being a dentist.

Dr. Okonedo has extensive training in all aspects of general dentistry, including restorative work, prosthodontics, clear aligners, pediatrics, oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics, and cosmetic dentistry. As an avid learner, she stays at the forefront of dentistry through ongoing training. With an empathetic and driven spirit, she ensures excellent and comfortable care for all patients. Dr. Okonedo is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.

While away from the practice, Dr. Okonedo loves spending time with her husband and 2 dogs Risky and Lulu. Dr. Okonedo enjoys traveling, reading, cooking and trying out new restaurants.

Dr. Okonedo believes that health is wealth and that it all starts in the oral cavity. She loves getting to know her patients on a personal level and is passionate about nurturing their smiles. We are looking forward to meeting you!
