Frisco Dentist

Dr. Okonedo was born in Baltimore, Maryland and has spent the majority of her life in the DC-Maryland-Virginia area. Dr. Okonedo graduated from the prestigious University of Maryland, College Park where she obtained her B. S. in Biology.

Following graduation, she worked in a private dental office for a year and fell more in love with dentistry. She pursued her passion and was accepted to University of Maryland  College of Dentistry, fulfilling her dream of being a dentist.

Dr. Okonedo has received extensive training in all aspects of general dentistry: restorative (fillings), fixed and removable prosthodontics (crown and bridge), clear aligners (like Invisalign), pediatrics, oral surgery, periodontics (soft tissue/gums), endodontics (root canals), and cosmetic dentistry. An avid learner, Dr. Okonedo is passionate about staying on the leading edge of dentistry and invests heavily  into ongoing training each year. Having an empathetic and passion driven spirit, Dr. Okonedo pursues excellence to assure that everyone who walks through the doors will receive excellent care while being comfortable as possible. Dr. Okonedo is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas  Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.

While away from the practice, Dr. Okonedo loves spending time with her husband and 2 dogs Risky and Lulu. Dr. Okonedo enjoys traveling, reading, cooking and trying out new restaurants.

Dr. Okonedo believes that health is wealth and that it all starts in the oral cavity. She loves getting to know her patients on a personal level and is passionate about nurturing their smiles. We are looking forward to meeting you!
